A few weeks ago I spent the evening roaming around the city taking some photos of the Vivid Sydney festival of light.
The Opera House is always a show stopper with crowds lining the foreshore.
After watching the complete cycle of the Opera House, I went wandering around The Rocks and Circular Quay. This is what I found…

Caterina & Ade’s last month was held on a glorious Sydney morning and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph. You might remember them from their engagement session a few weeks prior.

The flowers were by Courtney Grace and were absolutely stunning.
The ceremony was held at the chapel at Santa Sabina College in Strathfield.

After the ceremony, we headed to Balmoral for the lunchtime reception, but before heading in, we spent a few minutes on the pier.
These two make one gorgeous couple!
The reception was held at the Public Dining Room on the Esplanade at Balmoral.
Homemade Fig Jam and potted succulents made up the favours. I love little details outside the box.

At the end of the reception, a water taxi arrived to take them to their hotel in the city. The sun was just beginning to set and the light looked incredible. Caterina & Ade asked me if I wanted to join them for the ride and take a few more portraits and I jumped at the chance. The results were amazing!

Luana & Michael were married in Canberra last month and it really was an incredible day to photograph. A vibrant wedding packed full of tradition and culture!
I started with Michael & the Boys & got so excited when this is what I saw when I walked in the front door.
I love when couples organise gifts for each other to open as they’re getting ready.

Just as Luana finished getting ready, and a bunch of relatives arrived, 2 Lebanese drummers walked through the door and the atmosphere skyrocketed!
Luana & Michael had a traditional Melkite Catholic ceremony at St Christopher’s Cathedral in Manuka.
We spent the afternoon at a bunch of great locations around Canberra. We started in the gorgeous avenue in front of Government House.
After a few bridal portraits at Blundell’s Cottage, we headed down to the lake front before the weather turned and it was time to head to the reception.
The reception was held at the Southern Cross Club in Woden.
The drummers were back and kept the party alive all night!
