About Me

Hi there! My name is Kellee and I just love taking photos. Some will tell a story, some will make me smile, some are just pretty.

Generally speaking, I am an observer. My favourite images are usually unscripted, but I’m not a pure photojournalist. I’m happy to straighten a tie or ask Cousin Jack to take off his sunglasses. I’m all about getting the best images possible.

What makes me, Me? I'm a country girl at heart and a fisherwoman by conversion. I spend every Sunday night in a freezing cold ice rink watching The Boy play hockey and can’t wait for the day I can call myself a Hockey Mum. I love living 100m from the ocean, but would happily spend months road-tripping the red centre. I live for travelling the world and experiencing all that’s on offer.

I love to share. My blog is as much about me and my life as it is about my clients. I believe it’s important for photographers to take photos for themselves; it keeps the passion for photography alive. As you browse around, you’ll see where I go on holiday, my adorable twin nephews will grow up before your eyes, and I often share bunches of flowers my boyfriend surprises me with. Those are the things that inspire me most.

I absolutely love colourful photographs, but there’s something about this baby session that made me want to show it all in black & white.

The eyes!

2 month old Michelle had the most beautiful deep brown eyes that were almost black!! I know all babies are born with blue eyes, but I didn’t realise they changed so quickly…

Sydney Baby Photographer: Mother with baby daughter in arms Alice Springs Baby Photographer: Newborn feet Michelle had a big long sleep before the shoot, which on one hand made for a very content baby…but when I wanted a few sleepy shots she just kept flashing those eyes. We got there, even if only for 30 seconds :)
