About Me

Hi there! My name is Kellee and I just love taking photos. Some will tell a story, some will make me smile, some are just pretty.

Generally speaking, I am an observer. My favourite images are usually unscripted, but I’m not a pure photojournalist. I’m happy to straighten a tie or ask Cousin Jack to take off his sunglasses. I’m all about getting the best images possible.

What makes me, Me? I'm a country girl at heart and a fisherwoman by conversion. I spend every Sunday night in a freezing cold ice rink watching The Boy play hockey and can’t wait for the day I can call myself a Hockey Mum. I love living 100m from the ocean, but would happily spend months road-tripping the red centre. I live for travelling the world and experiencing all that’s on offer.

I love to share. My blog is as much about me and my life as it is about my clients. I believe it’s important for photographers to take photos for themselves; it keeps the passion for photography alive. As you browse around, you’ll see where I go on holiday, my adorable twin nephews will grow up before your eyes, and I often share bunches of flowers my boyfriend surprises me with. Those are the things that inspire me most.

My work has been featured on the endlessly inspiring Polka Dot Bride & Style Me Pretty. I'm also an Accredited Professional Member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography.

Emily & Scott | The Wedding

Scott & Emily were married just over a week ago & the whole day was quite simply perfect!

The day started out at Emily’s parents home in Bayview (a rather handy 5 minute drive from my place!!) for the all of the girls preparations.

The ceremony was held at Ellery’s Punt Reserve just beside the Spit Bridge in Seaforth. The bridge actually went up a few minutes into the ceremony & neither Scott or Emily even noticed. After the ceremony we headed across to Shelly Beach for some portraits in the heavenly light.

The reception was held at the Bayview Golf Club & was so much fun!

Jasmine & Ivan | Engaged

I met up with Jasmine & Ivan recently for their engagement session at La Perouse. Would you believe that after 12 years living in Sydney I’ve never even been there. As soon as I arrived I felt like a kid in a candy store. I’ve never before come across a single locations that’s like 10 in one! Beach, grass, cliffs, old buildings & bridges.

Anyway, on to Jasmine & Ivan! They are so happy and so obviously in love it radiates through them.
