Caterina & Ade

Caterina & Ade live in Sydney’s Inner West, and wanted to keep it local for their engagement session. We started out at Carriageworks in Eveligh, for some urban & industrial type photos. The buildings are magnificent, everything on such a large scale, with such a variety of colours and textures on the walls, which makes for the perfect backdrop. A quick outfit change, as we headed off to Centennial Park for the remainder of the time finished off the session with some earthy goodness, with vibrant green trees perfectly setting off Caterina’s white dress.

Their wedding day was just as perfect. An early start with a morning ceremony in Strathfield, followed by a lunch time reception at the Public Dining Room in Balmoral. It was the perfect modern white wedding. A few handmade touches, such as the home made fig jam and potted succulents for the bonbonniere added the perfect amount of warmth. Lunch time weddings are always beautiful to photograph. Light streaming through the windows brings an air of joy, while keeping it relaxed and down to earth. We capped off the day with a sunset cruise to Circular Quay capturing the most divine light imaginable.
