Carly & Michael | Wedding

I’m beyond excited to be sharing Carly & Michael’s wedding today after being featured on Style Me Pretty this morning :)

It’s hard to find the words to describe Carly & Michael’s wedding day. You may remember them from their gorgeous engagement session at Freshwater, on the Northern Beaches.

Their wedding was, in short, amazing. Full of love, laughter, tender moments, big smiles, little details and a few tears.

While the sky threatened rain ominously throughout the day, there was never more than a sprinkle when we needed to be outside!

Check out Carly’s dress. So unbelievably unique, and it fit her like a glove.

Quite possibly my favourite cufflinks ever!

Carly sent over a gift for Michael to open while he was getting ready. He was caught off guard and just smiled ear to ear.

Carly, you are absolutely stunning!

I loved this moment between Carly & her sister once she was dressed and ready.

I always love watching the bride’s parents faces when they see their daughter fully dressed for the first time.

Carly & Michael spent months making 1000 paper cranes together to decorate their ceremony and reception.

They shared their first dance to “It’s oh so quiet” by Bjork. I really hope someone got it all on video, because stills can’t even begin to express the awesomeness that was the routine.

We walked outside for a few night portraits, and they just started dancing alone on the grass. Nothing says happiness quite like spontaneous dancing.

Carly & Michael, congratulations again, I wish you both the world of happiness!

kellee, you have an extraordinary talent for capturing those moments in time that tell the story of one of the most precious times in one’s life. It’s so wonderful to be able to keep these memories alive through your photographs, and share them with the loved ones who were unable to be there to share the day. Thank you so much. The day was all Carly and Michael had hoped for and planned for.
we wish you all the very best.
