Yesterday I photographed something very unique. Not only was this my first wedding at Uluru (Ayers Rock), but it was actually my first elopement!
I woke up well before the break of dawn to head to the most picturesque lookout and watch two wonderful people tie the knot in front of only two guests a the sun rose over Uluru behind them. To say it was magical is an understatement.
I’m still on such a high, I just can’t find the words to describe it.
There’s not too much else I can say for now & this photo of the bouquet is all I can show you until they break the news to the rest of their family and friends back home.
Stay tuned for another week or so…
**EDIT** If you’ve stumbled on this post more recently, you can check out the full elopement here.
Also, if you’d like to take a glimpse at some my own personal travel photos from the rest of my stay in this magical place. Check them out here. From the desert blooms, another sunrise, wandering around the base of Uluru, the incredible changing colours sunset, and a trip out to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and more!
How exciting! Can’t wait to see them! This teaser shot is pretty sweet. Love the colors and the sun flare!
