It was a case of right place, right time. A few Tuesdays ago at about 10.30pm, Christine Pobke wrote on Facebook that she urgently needed a second shooter for Saturday’s wedding in the Hunter Valley. Ever since my mentor session with Christine back in June, I’ve been dying to shoot with her again, so I immediately said I could. A few quick emails and it was locked in and I was stoked (I’m not sure The Fisherman appreciated me waking him up with the news though…).
Thursday came and Christine emailed me the run sheet for the day and I saw the names of the bride & groom. Morgan & Katie of THE MORGAN & KATIE SHOOT!! That’s about when I almost died of excitement. Any bride who puts together such amazing details for an e-shoot…well the wedding would be epic. Epic it was my friends, and so comes the biggest most epic post I’ve done to date.
Katie looked unbelievably stunning. I overheard guests saying she looked like Audrey Hepburn. So elegant.
This moment almost made me cry. Pretty much sums it up.
I love nothing more than a happy couple! Pure jubilation
The photobooth is where the action was all night. Checkout the queue! And the results here.
Love the enthusiasm of the girl in front :)

So many amazing images in this set I cannot pick one I like the best! But I think I can narrow it down to two faves – the groom tearing up, and the one of the bride with her father’s hand on her shoulder, it’s just beautiful. Lovely work!

These pics are amazing and capture the day so well! Can you tell me more about the notecards hanging on clothespins. Seems likes great idea and wondering if anyone has more info.
Hi Sara,
The bride (along with family & friends) handmade pretty much everything you see here. The note cards served as their guestbook with a few different prompts such as “Love is”, “Don’t forget”, We Wish You”. The lines were strung between two framed pinboards covered in burlap.
