I spent a few days in Canberra last week, and it happened to coincide with Floriade, the annual tulip festival. So one afternoon, I spent an hour or two just wandering around the gardens.

It’s officially official. Spring is here!!!
Even though summer is my favourite season, the first week of spring in Sydney is my favourite week of the year. I never cease to be amazed by the explosion of colour.
It’s all about the wattle. I’m not sure if it’s just me or not, but it seems extra fluffy and golden this year.
Spring is in the air
Only 2 more weeks of winter to go and I’m excited! The unusually balmy July has tricked all the magnolia trees into thinking its spring already.
Now if only Summer could last for 6 months, I’d be one happy lady!
