I am at a complete loss for words when it comes to trying to explain the awesomeness that was Karla & Corey’s wedding. For starters, it was in VANUATU (at the Holiday Inn in Port Vila)!! Looking at the photos is like an out-of-body experience.

I felt like a kid in a candy store photographing all the details. Wandering the silent grounds of the resort at 6am was just heavenly. Every tree, flower and hut, all potential backdrops :)

Karla is actually an incredible makeup artist, and not only did her own makeup but the makeup of pretty much all her family & friends.

It was a much more relaxed scene with Corey & Bailey (their 6 year old son).

Seriously, this kid is too cute for words!

These few shots may look like regular getting ready photos, but Karla is actually spraying hair spray on her face, rather than finishing spray. Her reaction is priceless

Bailey looks so far beyond proud to be giving his mum away.

After the ceremony, we headed to Mele Cascades, Vanuatu’s stunning waterfalls.

To start with, we weren’t sure how far to climb. But once Karla picked up her dress and started walking through the water, there was nowhere to go, but straight to the top!

After a brief siesta, it all started again, with a blessing by the lagoon.

Nothing makes a grand entrance quite like a warrior escorted canoe.

Honestly, how perfect is the Holiday Inn!

The highlight of the night!

Rather than a traditional guestbook, Karla & Corey had everyone write a message on a Jenga piece. First of all, how cool is that, but really, I love that it will be a conversation piece forever!
