Kristyn & Shaun were married in October last year at Manly Wine. A day bursting with colour, smiles & tonnes of fun all round.
The day began with the girls getting ready in the Sebel at Manly Beach.
Ash from Clementine Posy personally delivered the bouquets & Kristyn had pretty much the best reaction of all time. Though it must be said, that these were the most gorgeous bouquets of all time.
Earlier in their relationship, Shaun gave Kristyn a little book of hug coupons, to be redeemed at any time in the future. Kristyn saved the super special gold bear hug, which she tucked safely in her bouquet to be used just as she reached the top of the aisle. So sweet.
I normally spend about 20 minutes with the boys as they get ready…cufflinks, ties, jackets etc. But Shaun & his boys had other ideas :)
Although, they did manage to save the flowers for me.
Natalie & Bob from Tillee Music performed from the pre-ceremony, right through the reception & set the atmosphere just perfectly.
Nothing beats the smiles of a couple when the realisation dawns that they’re finally married!
After the ceremony, we headed up to North Head & wandered around the National Park, looking out over the harbour, followed by a few minutes on Little Manly Beach.
When bridesmaid Renata serenaded Kristyn & Shaun towards the end of the night, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Kristyn & Shaun, once again it was an absolute pleasure to capture your day. I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane :)

There’s something about weekday weddings that gets me every time.
Katrina & Andrew were married on a Friday back in late October on a picture perfect Spring day.
I started out with the boys getting ready at Freshwater. I arrived to see them all hanging out watching a movie, passing round a footy while eating fish & chips, but I managed to at least get Andrew organised before I walked out the door :)
Next, I was off to the Sebel Hotel in Manly to very different scene. Hair and makeup all but finished, with glasses of champagne all round.
The ceremony was held at Spit West Reserve at Mosman. A gorgeous little park tucked out of sight! A huge shout out to Girl Friday Weddings for the incredible job of setting up the ceremony and reception. Seriously amazing!
Those smiles say everything!
Side note to future brides and grooms – don’t feel like you need to have an equal number of bridesmaids and groomsmen!
I like how the rocks are almost forming a heart behind them :)
The reception was held across the road at Zest. A gorgeous contemporary venue, with the most incredible timber work throughout. It gives such a warmth and intimacy to the space!
Cheesecake redefined!
After the bridal waltz, the dancefloor was jam packed the entire evening. Even the dessert was served on platters roaming the dancefloor! The music was by Sincopa Trio. A great bunch of guys who fuse a DJ with live percussion and saxophone. The vibe was electric!
Katrina & Andrew, I hope you both had the most wonderful day!
