I took this a number of years ago when I was travelling around the States; it’s the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC.

Why do I love it? 2 reasons: The lines & the story. There’s so many times in movies or on TV you see people walking into the Presidential memorials in some kind of effort to extract wisdom from the former leaders. I don’t know if people actually do it, but that’s the feeling I get watching this person climb the stairs.
